Join The Farm Stand Trail

The Farm Stand Trail is a free community map connecting locals and visitors with farm stands, roadside stands, farm tables, self-serve stops and other local food destinations across Western Kentucky.

Our primary focus

Most Trail locations are physical farm stands or farm-direct sales locations where visitors can stop, browse and purchase local food directly.

The Trail currently covers the eight counties of the Jackson Purchase Area:

Ballard • Carlisle • Calloway • Fulton • Graves • Hickman • Marshall • McCracken

We also recognize that local food doesn't always fit neatly into one type of setup. Some farms sell by pre-order or pickup. Some deliver directly to customers. Some small markets provide access to locally grown products that might otherwise be difficult for the public to find.

For that reason, we may also include local farms, producers, markets and other food resources that provide a meaningful benefit to the communities we serve.

Examples may include:

• Physical farm stands, roadside stands, farm tables and self-serve locations

• Farm stands offering local products by pre-order or pickup

• Select local food producers or markets that provide a meaningful resource to Jackson Purchase communities

Every location is reviewed individually. We look for places and people that fit the spirit of The Farm Stand Trail and help locals and visitors discover, access and support local food in our region.
