🌻 The Fall Farm Stand Trail Passport
October 24 – November 7, 2026
Let's Hit the Backroads!
We're inviting visitors to explore the local farm stands of the Jackson Purchase on a two-week Fall Passport adventure! It's a chance to discover new places, meet the people behind our local farms, and take home a little taste of the season.
How It Works
Participating farm stands will receive a unique QR code to display at their stand. When visitors scan it, they'll discover that farm's name and a secret Trail Word to record in their Passport.
Visitors who visit at least five different participating stands, collect five secret Trail Words, and submit their completed Passport through our online entry form will qualify to receive our special completion gift!
What Do Visitors Receive?
Everyone who completes the adventure earns a digital copy of Fall from the Farm: A Collection of Recipes from the Farm Stand Trail — a collection of seasonal recipes contributed by our local farms. It's our way of thanking visitors for getting out, exploring, and supporting local agriculture.
This is a completion gift, not a random drawing. Complete the requirements, submit your entry, and receive the recipe collection after verification.
What Do Participating Farms Receive?
A unique QR code and secret Trail Word for your stand.
Inclusion in the Fall Passport adventure.
An opportunity to share your farm's story and seasonal offerings through Farm Stand Trail Facebook features.
The chance to contribute a favorite recipe to our digital recipe collection.
Participation is free! You don't need to offer a prize or provide anything to visitors. You'll just need to display your QR code and be accessible to visitors during the event. Please confirm your participation and your planned open days and hours so visitors know when they can stop by.
Share a Recipe!
We'd love to include recipes from our participating farms. Share a favorite family recipe, a seasonal dish, or a special way you use ingredients from your farm. You may submit as many recipes as you'd like.
For each recipe, please include:
Your farm stand's name and the name you'd like printed in the book.
The recipe, including ingredients and instructions.
A short note about why the recipe is special to you.
Confirmation that you have permission to share it and agree to its publication in our digital collection.
Ready to Join the Adventure?
Please reply to the invitation email by Thursday, October 15, 2026, and tell us whether you'd like to participate in the Passport, be featured on Facebook, contribute a recipe, or take part in all three!
The Passport runs Saturday, October 24, through Saturday, November 7, 2026. We'll provide participating farms with their QR codes and instructions before launch.
Let's give folks a reason to take the backroads, discover something good, and fall in love with our local farm community!
